Cariuma
Cariuma is a Brazilian sneaker brand that was born out of a desire to do things differently—slower, more responsibly, and with respect for people and the planet.
Its goal is to create timeless footwear that looks great, is extremely comfortable, and does not harm the environment.
It was founded by two long-time friends, David and Fernando, who decided to leave the corporate world and design sneakers that are not only stylish but also in line with the values they live by – fairness, sustainability, and authenticity.
Cariuma is built on solid foundations: an emphasis on high-quality natural and recycled materials, ethical handcrafting, and minimal impact on the planet.
Each pair of sneakers is designed with durability and comfort in mind, using organic cotton, natural rubber, cork, or bamboo.
The brand also actively gives back to nature – for every pair sold, it plants two trees in the Brazilian rainforest.
As a certified B Corp, it emphasizes not only the final product, but also the way it is produced – transparently, slowly, and with the awareness that less can mean more.
