Tropicfeel Shoes
Tropicfeel was born in Barcelona from a frustration every traveller knows: you pack three pairs of shoes — trainers, sandals and something for the water — and you always have the wrong ones to hand.
The founders decided the problem was not in the packing but in the shoe itself, and designed a trainer that handles everything: walks the city, goes into the sea, dries fast, breathes and packs down to a minimum.
They took the idea to Kickstarter and hit a nerve — the campaign ranked among the most successful footwear projects in the platform's history and confirmed the problem wasn't made up.
From one shoe grew an entire travel system: rucksacks with thought-through internal organisation, clothing for the plane and the tropics, accessories for travelling light.
Recycled materials are part of the brief, because travel leaves a big enough footprint even without a surplus wardrobe.
Tropicfeel is Barcelona's answer to the question of how many things you actually need for a trip.
