Topo Designs was born in Colorado with a thesis that sounds obvious yet the outdoor industry had forgotten: gear for the outdoors can be colourful, simple and joyful.
The founders took inspiration from classic mountain rucksacks of the era when outdoor wasn't yet a technology show: solid rectangular shape, cords, buckles, contrasting colour blocks.
They translated those archetypes into the present with modern materials and urban usability, so the rucksack works on the trek and in the office and nowhere looks like fancy dress.
Colorado plays the role of both benchmark and mood: mountains behind the city you drive to after work, not once a year with an expedition.
The range holds the same logic: simple constructions that won't break because there's nothing on them to break, and colours that bring cheer even on a Monday.
Topo Designs is a reminder that outdoor is mainly about the appetite to go outside, not about spec sheets.
